    Student Assistants to hold historic vote

    The California Public Employment Relations Board has determined that there was enough support in the population of Student Assistants within the CSU system to allow them to organize a vote to determine whether they will unionize.   • Tentative contract approved

    Union members overwhelmingly voted to adopt the tentative 2022-2024 contract (pdf) agreement. CSUEU members cast 8,612 votes with a 91.37% YES to ratify. See the CSUEU press release.

  • Contractual Pay Update

    Union-covered employees, regardless of union membership, will see pay raises in their April 1 paychecks for work done in the month of March and also receive any retroactive pay in a check to be issued in late March 2024.

    Union Meet & Confer on Employee Cuts

    CSUEU representatives from across the state met with representatives from the SSU HR department and the Chancellor's Office to push back against the administration's cuts to the workforce.
